I love Bai Mu Dan / Pai Mu Tan / White Peony in all its forms. It is my go-to tea when I am unwell, for starters.
It is a terribly inconsistent tea to buy. It varies from supplier to supplier and year to year. Price is no guide to quality.
I am currently finishing up a huge quantity of Doke Bai Mu Dan, actually grown in India.

Nobody likes drinking wet paper. Dry adds a great texture

Thanks Liberteas. I too so far have seen the same reaction as you to the Teavivre teas. I can’t wait to try more. There are only a few tea companies that consistently offer amazing teas. Companies that carry a full compliment of a vast variety of teas you can enjoy. For example thepuriTea, David’s Tea, Chicago Tea Garden just to name a few. Of course this is my own personal opinion. I hope after trying my samples I can add Teavivre to the list.

I enjoyed reading your review. I really liked this Bai Mu Dan, one of the better quality Bai Mu Dan teas that I’ve encountered. But then, Teavivre has consistently impressed me.
