Doodle Crate from Kiwi Crate
A quick post I felt I needed to share with my parents out there who have kids at home for the summer and need some fun and educational activities for. I recently subscribed for two different types of Kiwi Crates. Kiwi Crates is a company that offers a themed monthly subscription box for various age groups. I purchased two different types appropriate for ages 9 and above. My daughter is 8 but felt she would be fine tackling a project made for kids ages slightly higher than she is. The two types of boxes I purchased were as follows.
Doodle Kiwi Crate – Spark creativity through art.
Tinker Kiwi Crate – A box dedicated to building and engineering cool and interesting projects including experiments.
We opened the Doodle Crate first since the sticker on top said to open immediately as there were live plants inside. Obviously we were excited and did exactly what we were told. Much to our excitement and satisfaction we discovered that we were about to make our very own terrarium. Everything was included except the water, which is obviously understandable. The art portion we still haven’t completed but there is a second project included where she will have the chance to sculpt a decorative snail out of clay for her terrarium. Seriously this thing was super cool. Worth the cost and the best part was the quality time we got to spend together. She was especially excited to learn that she will get to take care of her new plants all by herself. I absolutely love this and the best part… She loves it too!

You’ll thank me for this one moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents.
I understand this isn’t a tea post and not all of my posts are but if it helps I was drinking a cup while spending some quality time with my little girl. My almost third grader. Where does the time go?
When I am not running after the kids, managing the household, and homeschooling my oldest I enjoy blogging about my passions and how it applies to my life.
