Video: A Tea Review of Daily Beauty Tea – BijaBody

First video tea review by me, Rachel of iHeartTeas.com.

I drank a tea sample so generously sent to me for review by the owner of BijaBody.
I hope you enjoy this video.

Please watch the video before reading below.
Review once the tea cooled:
The cup balances itself out more as it cools. The spicy flavor fades away a touch and the natural sweetness mellows. The earthiness also drops off a couple of notches. I start to taste the oolong more and the pu-erh on the back. I think this makes for a rather calming tea. Something to help put your mind at ease. Something to slow things down. In my opinion that is always a good thing.
Thanks again BijaBody for sending me this wonderful sample.

I am so happy you liked it. I’ve been a bit nervous about posting videos but decided it was time I give it a try. I also wanted to say thank you again and especially for being so patient with me. By the way, my now 5 year old is enjoying my cup of Daily Beauty as I type. :)

I know what you mean but I am not sure if I am actually ready to be in front of the camera. Perhaps one day, but I fear I would be a bit self conscience. I actually started making these video on a whim. Granted I had considered it but honestly I just really wanted to show everyone how excited I was about the new tea maker my husband bought for me. I kept trying to find the best way to convey my feelings and I felt the only way I could really do this justice was to record it. It was easy too since I have the iPhone so I couldn’t talk myself out of it by telling myself it would be too difficult. Once I finally decided to post the video I started to get nervous, I finally knew what others felt. You feel so exposed. Open to ridicule or praise but the point was you are open to anything and it feels like you are a bit naked in front of a crowd. I know this more of a reply than expected but I thought it would still be nice to share. I absolutely appreciate your support and that I have already received from so many others. That being said… You never know one day you may just see me in front of the camera.

P.S. In hindsight perhaps this could have been a blog post.

The subject of being on camera might be an interesting blog post indeed. I can certainly relate to your feelings, I’d feel the same. But you have a great voice, and I can’t imagine anyone whose opinions matter to you, ridiculing you or anyone else. We’re a community, and we look out for fellow tea drinkers, right?! :)

Rachel, there is no choice involved. Get in front of the camera. I’ve been doing appalling videos for two years and I”ve virtually never had a bad word said, and never from someone who had anything constructive to say.

Alright, alright just as soon as I lose another 50lbs and maybe 10 years younger. Just kidding. Still thinking about where I am going with this. I have never considered doing this before. Everything sort of happened so fast. I never in a million years expected such a huge positive reaction from this. I need to get used to the idea of the possibility of me doing more video. I’ll get there I am sure. Thanks for your support, you have no idea how much it means to me. :). Btw, I love your videos

That was absolutely fantastic! I’ve never had the courage to do a video review but you make me want to have a go at it. That tea sounds delicious, love spicy drinks in the Winter. You never struck me as the teabag type though hmm…

And yes, I agree with Robert, you need to step out into the limelight :)

Thank you so much. I have had so much support from so many. It’s funny this all sort of happened by accident. I was just having fun and playing with my iPhone and it seems I may have fallen into something that may suit me. It’s such a surprise and I thank you for your kind words.

Now as for tea bags… You are 100% right. I only use tea bags when daily with teas that have small particles. Most of the time this is true of herbal teas and those with blended fresh spices and herbs. Most of the time I drink traditional teas without such additives. Thus, NO tea bags. So good catch! I meant to mention that I only use them with teas with small particles and that it is the only time. Love your attention to detail. :)
