My Coconut & Honey Matcha Latte Recipe

My Coconut & Honey Matcha Latte Recipe
2 tsp Matcha – I used Obubu Teas Matcha
Hot Water – Enough to make a Matcha paste
2% Milk – 4oz
Coconut Milk – 3oz
Half & Half – 1oz
Honey – 3 tsp or add to your taste
Whipped Cream – Optional but delicious
* Warning – Rich & Creamy but worth it.
– Add Matcha to bowl and whisk a touch of hot water to make a thick paste. Be sure to whisk until the contents are smooth and creamy.
In separate container add 2% milk, coconut milk, and half and half together. Microwave for 2 mins or use stove-top to heat.
– Pour matcha paste into a mug. Next, slowly mix in milk mixture into the mug with matcha. Once all the milk is in the mug stir until evenly distributed.
– Next, stir in desired amount of honey.
– Lastly and my favorite part… Top off with whipped cream and Enjoy!
Please share your experiences with this recipe if you make it. Thank you!

OK… the next time I’m at Chucks or Whole Foods I am going to have to pick up some coconut milk so that I can try this! It sounds amazing.

Hi There ~ Does this recipe use the kind of coconut milk from a can? I’m really excited to try this.

Hi Christi! The coconut milk is the kind you find in the refrigerated section that can be substituted for regular cows milk. Great question! Please let know how you like it when you make it. Leaving a comment like this would be great.

This was such a decadent tasting treat on a rainy Portland afternoon! It was also a very nice pick-me-up; it got me going on my errands when all I wanted to do was sit and watch Netflix. 🙂 I am going to make it for my husband this weekend- I know he’ll love it too. Thank you so much for the recipe.

I’m so happy you loved this. I love creating fun and easy tea recipes and it makes it that much better when people who try them love them.

I’ve been considering compiling a tea recipe book for publishing. I’ll make sure this one makes the book.
