½ cup water
½ cup milk
Honey (Use as desired a sweetener of choice, optional)
Whipped Cream (Optional)
Using the stovetop method, in a small pot start boiling your water. Next, add your Apple Pie Chai loose-leaf tea. Allow the water to boil, next reduce heat to a medium simmer for a couple of minutes. If you are adding sugar as a sweetener this is the time to add your desired amount. I would start small, as you can always add more when you are done if needed. Next, add your milk to the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil and allow simmering for a few minutes.
Turn off the stove, pour strained tea mixture into a mug of your choice. At this time you can add honey and if you have a small handheld frother this is the ideal time to blend the honey into the latte and froth the milk. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
